Here in Lithuania arrival of Spring means more sun to feel on our skin after dark days of Winter. Trees are starting to create little buds which are soon to be blooming with pure flowers and leaves. Birds are coming back from the far lands where they were resting in warmth while we were freezing in our snowy Lithuanian winter.
Pastel colors are trending few seasons in a row. You can see models walking the catwalk and fashionistas showing their outfits on the streets. This time we want to talk more about light blue color – Sky blue – that has a very subtle and feminine touch to a spring outfit.
It’s hard to believe, but we can hear the birds singing louder, the sun beams dancing on our cheeks more fiercely and the early flowers waking up, bloom after bloom, in fields our eyes land on. Seems the long awaited Spring is here and with the Spring the New Son de Flor Spring/Summer Season!

There is so much light with the sun slowly taking over the whole sky and birds starting to sing on the streets. We can see trees showing the first signs of life and grass catching sunlight which is coming thought the clouds.
On a cold frosty Friday I left my little ones with their grandpa and went for a solitary walk, much like Jane Eyre often took to the fields surrounding old Thornfield manor. My soul felt refreshed and unbound, as if it were a ball of the softest wool, beginning to unwind and float away in the quiet February wind.
