My Mulberry House & Son de Flor

The Magic of Everyday // My Mulberry House & Son de Flor
We’re so excited to finally share something that’s been quietly growing behind the scenes. The Leah collection feels like two worlds coming together, as if they were always meant to meet. It’s a story born from our playful curiosity and our shared love for timeless beauty made to be lived in.

With this collaboration, Son de Flor, known for its gentle rhythm, cottage gardens and linen aprons, takes a graceful step toward the elegance of another era. It’s as if she’s been dreaming of candlelight and suddenly realises she belongs there, too. Still soft and grounded, but now touched by quiet sophistication.

The collection feels like poetry in motion: romantic bishop sleeves, loose blouses that breathe, twirling midi skirts that capture movement like a sigh, deep yet humble necklines, peplum-waisted jackets, and ruffled-collar coats that seem to carry whispers of another time. Every piece is made from linen, yet somehow feels enchanted - the same familiar fabric transformed by a daring new light.

When we saw Leah’s vision come to life, it was almost like witnessing a Cinderella moment. Son de Flor, who has always been content to linger in wildflower meadows, suddenly steps into a ballroom - not to become someone else, but to finally see the fullness of who she’s always been. Elegant. Feminine. Strong. And still deeply herself. A touch of glamour in your everyday life, accompanying you through every challenge as you write your own story.

Leah’s eye for detail and her courage to mix romance with an unapologetic sense of self brought a fresh kind of beauty into our world. Through her, we were reminded how versatile and alive our timeless silhouettes truly are: how they bend, evolve, and find new meaning in the hands of another visionary soul.

Leah, much like Son de Flor, believes in the magic of everyday - in the art of finding wonder not in grand gestures, but in the way light falls on fabric, in a cup of tea shared slowly, in the courage to keep choosing beauty in a world that often forgets it.
This collaboration is a love letter to that spirit. A reminder that creativity doesn’t stem from rules or titles, but from heart, patience, and vision. That even the most grounded fabric can tell a new story when two kindred souls dare to dream together.

So yes — this is happening. And we’re still a little in awe. Give us your hand and let’s step together into the magic of everyday through the lens of the My Mulberry House & Son de Flor capsule.

To go behind the scenes, we asked Leah about designing the collection, what inspired it, and to share a little inspirational message with our readers.

Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself! :)

A: I’m Leah, the founder of Mulberry House and a lifelong romantic when it comes to clothing. I live in a 300-year-old home in the English countryside, and so much of my work is about weaving history, nostalgia and modern life together. I’ve always loved storytelling, through interiors, through seasons, and now through clothing. Getting dressed, for me, is a kind of quiet theatre: a way to step into the day feeling grounded, confident, and a little bit magical.

Q: What was the inspiration behind the designs?

A: This collection is built around elegant, feminine shapesVictorian silhouettes reimagined for modern life. I’ve always adored Beatrix Potter, Little Women, Pride & Prejudice… all those worlds where clothing had intention and character. I love feeling a little dramatic, like I’m stepping into a story, but without sacrificing comfort or ease.

The strong yet soft neckline was really important to me, feminine but empowering. And the bows, ties and cinched waists mean you can shape each piece to your body, creating beautiful lines without feeling restricted. The coats and jackets are inspired by those iconic literary heroines; after all, the dress might be the star, but you need something wonderful to wear on the journey to wherever you’re going.

Q: What type of person did you have in mind when designing them?

A: Someone who loves to dress with feeling. Someone who wants to feel beautiful and capable, a little romantic but also strong. People who love vintage silhouettes yet want garments that work in real, everyday life, school runs, countryside walks, parties, quiet afternoons at home. Women who understand that style is a form of self-expression, and that clothing can give you a role to play, a mood to inhabit, and confidence to hold.

Q: What accessory matches your favourite pieces best?

A: I always reach for good knitwear; there’s something so timeless about layering linen and cotton dresses with a soft cardigan or jumper. And I love a ribbon or headscarf, a beret or little bonnet, and some good woolly socks. These pieces are designed to be lived in, layered, styled, and reimagined throughout the seasons.

Q: What does linen mean to you? What do you like about it?

A: Linen feels honest. It softens with you, lives with you, and holds the stories of every day you wear it. I love that it’s beautiful without being precious - breathable, comfortable, and effortlessly elegant. It has that slightly imperfect, natural texture that feels so true to life at Mulberry House. To me, linen is freedom: easy to wear, endlessly layerable, and always romantic.

Q: Share a little inspirational message with our readers!

A: “Dress for the version of yourself you want to meet each morning, soft, strong, curious, and full of quiet magic. Clothing isn’t just something we put on; it’s a tiny story we tell about who we are becoming.”
