The Academia Edit

This September, we are stepping into Academia - a world of books, curiosity, lifelong learning and a little old-fashioned autumn dressing. A theme that somehow feels very natural for Son de Flor, especially with Indian Ink, Wild Plum and Twilight Tartan, and silhouettes such as our Edith Trousers, Jane Vest, Enola and Frida Dresses and Classic Skirts.

Alongside the edit, we are introducing a small project that started with an idea from our Head of E-commerce, Ugnė: a Son de Flor planner. It is completely undated, so there is no pressure to keep up - you can start, stop and return whenever you need it. Inside, there is space for dates, plans and to-do lists, but also questions about wellbeing, goals and balance, little thoughts and quotes for the day, and photographs from our FW26 collection.

We made only 100 planners, each finished with a linen cover created from leftover Son de Flor fabrics, giving beautiful pieces of linen from our production another purpose.

And because the idea began with Ugnė, we thought she should be the one to introduce it. Usually she is behind the screen, making our online world work; this time, we nudged her a little outside her comfort zone and put her in front of the camera.

In a way, that became a lovely part of the Academia story too - remaining curious, continuing to learn, trying something unfamiliar and discovering another little part of yourself along the way.

Welcome to our Academia Edit. A small celebration of women who keep reading, thinking, questioning, learning  - AND dressing beautifully for all of it :)
