A Zero Waste Surprise to End the Year

Ever since our FW25 season began — which already feels like ages ago, doesn’t it? — so much has unfolded. Our timeless styles have been gently weaving their way into your daily routines, becoming companions for walks through autumn parks, candlelit dinners, and everyday rituals. Among them all, the Rosa Dress has gracefully taken the lead — perhaps not a surprise, knowing how easily she slips from morning to evening with nothing but a change of shoes and mood.
This season also brought something new and dear to our hearts — Wool Coats. Among them, the Wangari Coat stands tall, crafted with precision in a super small batch, just enough to feel its rhythm and understand whether it’s here to stay. There’s something quite special about seeing a new piece quietly test the waters before becoming part of our timeless family.
And the beautiful part? The story isn’t over yet.
We launched a little surprise to close the year with a spark of joy — a Zero Waste Capsule, born from creativity and responsibility. We gathered all the so-called dead stock fabrics left from previous productions — pieces too precious to be forgotten — and turned them into marvelous, timeless styles.
The problem of fashion waste is a serious one. Every year, millions of tons of fabric end up in landfills, often even before they reach customers. Synthetic textiles take decades (sometimes centuries!) to break down, releasing microplastics along the way. In fast fashion, overproduction is not a mistake — it’s part of the business model.
Linen, however, tells a different story. It’s a natural fiber that returns to the earth as gracefully as it came from it. And when you work with small local producers — as we do here in Lithuania — every meter of fabric matters. We don’t overproduce to “see what sells.” We produce intentionally, in small batches, and when there are leftovers, we see not waste but possibility.
For this capsule, we invited a truly radiant soul to join us — the ambassador of upcycling, Olesia Les. We fell in love at first sight — with her look, her personality, her charm, and that unmistakable spark in her energy. Seeing her modelling our zero waste pieces and pouring her joyful energy into them felt like watching two worlds — heritage and modern consciousness — meet in perfect harmony.
We hope you feel the same spark when you see the collection. Take a moment to explore it, to notice the details, to feel the story behind every piece. And then, let us know — which one speaks to you most?
Here’s to ending the year with beauty, responsibility, and joy,
Your Son de Flor Team
