Sisterhood is all about wisdom, kindness, feeling of unity and belonging. It’s a bond between women that is beyond being a family. It connects us all around the world regardless of age, skin color, and background. It’s an idea and love that hold us together.
We are so thrilled about spring finally entering our lives with warmth and revival which sparks energy and motivation. Even though pandemic situation in the world is still present which affects our everyday, we truly believe that the better days are just around the corner. Until then there are many little things that can lighten your day when staying at home. These things are nothing very new but they are something that helps to uplift yourself and spark joy.
Here in Lithuania arrival of Spring means more sun to feel on our skin after dark days of Winter. Trees are starting to create little buds which are soon to be blooming with pure flowers and leaves. Birds are coming back from the far lands where they were resting in warmth while we were freezing in our snowy Lithuanian winter.
If we can't go to opera, this does not mean the opera cannot come to us, right? This Sunday I'd love to invite you to a concert! Please excuse yourself from all the Sunday home chores, find your most elegant dress, pour a glass of wine or a cup of tea, find most comfortable place at home with a view and listen to my beloved version of 4 Seasons by Vivaldi, recomposed by Max Richter.

Yes, sometimes we are flying high and anything is possible. Sometimes we get really low and seems like nothing makes sense. How to stay mentally balanced and drive through all the ups and downs patiently and wisely? Not easy to achieve, especially in the current times of the pandemic, though there are several things we can do that might help us to find inner peace and breathe more freely.
Often when focusing on our goals and work we tend to steal time from nourishing ourselves mentally and physically. Yet both things are equally important to consider to stay happy and healthy. It’s great that this result can be achieved by creating little habits in our lives that, with time, would grow into something very special and beautiful, and would improve our overall well-being.
May the rest of the winter be the time of self-care physically, mentally & spiritually. We’ve been available and kind to everyone over the past period, may we finally be kind to ourselves. The goals set for the Next Year will not run-away anywhere, they will be accomplished as a side effect of feeling physically fit, mentally and emotional more stable, spiritually calm and relaxed.
Surely, reading is a little bit of luxury these days, especially if you are a working mom, even though in a slow fashion field. But whenever there is a chance for reading, even though for half an hour, it feels like taking yourself for a small local vacation, diving in another world, letting your imagination fly, where anything and everything is possible.
April 17th is the day the whole world honors haiku. Haiku is a Japanese poem of seventeen syllables, in three lines of five, seven, and five, traditionally evoking images of the natural world.
No matter how much love and appreciation we have for our family, friends, our home or surroundings, every now and then there comes a time for all the circumstances to be silenced so that we could hear the heart.
