Soft Bloom: A Gentle Step into the Season

I always find April a little difficult to describe. It’s not quite spring in full, and no longer winter, but something in between, where everything feels like it’s quietly on its way. We start noticing small things, like the sun rays dancing more frantically, air softening slightly, the shadows of trees thickening, birds chirping louder and louder each morning. The promise of change is in the air even if we cannot fully see it yet.

And maybe that’s why I love it. Because nothing is rushed in April. Nothing is fully revealed. It’s a season that holds more than it shows. And this is exactly the feeling we followed while creating our April Special Edit: Soft Bloom.

April is not the full expression of spring - it’s just the beginning - a tender, in-between moment where light returns, but gently; colors appear, but in softer tones; nature is not yet in full bloom but quietly preparing for it. There is something deeply feminine in this phase, as if a sense of becoming & holding something that is not yet fully visible.

And perhaps this is why it feels so naturally connected to the time we are approaching - Mother’s Day, celebrated across many parts of the world just as nature itself begins to blossom.

Soft Bloom: A Gentle Step into the Season

The language of soft color

In this special edit of our Spring & Summer 2026 News, we choose to speak through color. The Soft Bloom palette is built around tones that feel like early spring:
  • Wild Rose — a warm, grounded pink, carrying both softness and strength

Soft Bloom: A Gentle Step into the Season

  • Pale Purple — a calming, almost reflective shade, often associated with intuition and stillness

Soft Bloom: A Gentle Step into the Season

  • Lilac Dream (floral print) — a gentle expression of bloom itself, delicate yet full of life

Soft Bloom: A Gentle Step into the Season

  • Milky White Herringbone — a soft neutral, offering light, clarity, and space

In the language of color, these tones sit within the softer spectrum of the Pantone palette - pastels that are known to soothe rather than stimulate. They do not demand attention but invite the presence.

Choosing color for your body and mood

Soft tones have a unique way of adapting to the wearer.
  • Wild Rose tends to complement warmer undertones, bringing warmth and a natural glow to the skin

  • Pale Purple and Lilac Dream often resonate beautifully with cooler undertones, enhancing clarity and softness

  • Milky White Herringbone works as a grounding neutral, reflecting light gently and pairing effortlessly across palettes

But beyond undertones, there is something even more important: How a color makes you feel. A softer shade can create ease. A muted tone can bring calm. A floral print can add a quiet sense of joy. And sometimes, that is exactly what we need.

Pieces that grow with you

Some things are not new, but return with a different meaning. Our tiny dresses for little girls (ages 2–8) have already been part of our world and with Soft Bloom, we are simply bringing them back into the light, now in two gentle Spring & Summer shades:

  • Lilac Dream print
  • Wild Rose

And yet, they are never limited to these alone. We are always open to creating them in a color that already lives in your wardrobe {or one you are preparing to welcome} so that the connection feels natural, not arranged. How heartwarming it is to bond with your little girl through a special linen dress that might also become a heirloom piece of your wardrobe to be passed from one to another, where sweet childhood memories are stored!

Designed for motherhood, in all its forms

Some pieces evolve not by changing their essence, but by becoming more accommodating to life. Our nursing-friendly Smock Gaia dress is not new, yet shaped by the beloved Smock Gaia Dress, now thoughtfully adapted with front zips for ease and comfort.

Soft Bloom: A Gentle Step into the Season

With Soft Bloom, we are gently shifting the way we offer it. Rather than a single option, we now open the possibility of custom creation for women in waiting - during pregnancy, and beyond.

Available in a range of shades from our collection, including:

  • Skye Blue
  • Wild Rose
  • Night Navy
  • Marsala Red
  • Evergreen
  • Vetiver
  • Matcha Latte
  • Moonlight Blue
  • Black Pansy

It is a piece designed not only to be worn, but to support - to move with you through a time that is both tender and powerful. Because clothing, in moments like these, should never feel restrictive. It should feel like quiet support. And we hope this style embodies exactly that.

Soft Bloom: A Gentle Step into the Season

A quiet invitation

Soft Bloom is not a collection that asks to be noticed immediately. It unfolds slowly like April, like the flowers that are still on their way, like the gentle shift from one season to another. May this be a quiet invitation to be gentle towards life, but also ourselves! May we step into spring not all at once, but in our own timing.
