Life is a beautiful journey full of important lessons to get to know the world and people around you, but most importantly, yourself. All of us have a desire to be liked and accepted and due to that we might often change some facts that make us look better in the eyes of others. However, one of the ingredients of living your life to the full is being honest with yourself. It‘s about being truthful and accepting your strengths, weaknesses, limitations and character.
Diversity lies in the essence of nature. Imagine life without different plants, trees, insects, animals and weathers – it simply couldn‘t exist. Diversity enables the life on our planet to exist in harmony.
Our bodies are still in the process of waking up from long winter hibernation and we are blooming like flowers with sun kissing our faces more often. Even though sun still likes to hide after white fluffy clouds it keeps showing itself to us and sends us warmth. Sometimes, sun gets tired and gives some space for the rain which waters the ground and the plants on it recharging it from within.
Sisterhood is all about wisdom, kindness, feeling of unity and belonging. It’s a bond between women that is beyond being a family. It connects us all around the world regardless of age, skin color, and background. It’s an idea and love that hold us together.
We are so thrilled about spring finally entering our lives with warmth and revival which sparks energy and motivation. Even though pandemic situation in the world is still present which affects our everyday, we truly believe that the better days are just around the corner. Until then there are many little things that can lighten your day when staying at home. These things are nothing very new but they are something that helps to uplift yourself and spark joy.
Here in Lithuania arrival of Spring means more sun to feel on our skin after dark days of Winter. Trees are starting to create little buds which are soon to be blooming with pure flowers and leaves. Birds are coming back from the far lands where they were resting in warmth while we were freezing in our snowy Lithuanian winter.
If we can't go to opera, this does not mean the opera cannot come to us, right? This Sunday I'd love to invite you to a concert! Please excuse yourself from all the Sunday home chores, find your most elegant dress, pour a glass of wine or a cup of tea, find most comfortable place at home with a view and listen to my beloved version of 4 Seasons by Vivaldi, recomposed by Max Richter.
Besides getting rid of some unhealthy habits, like drinking less Café Latte and more water, starting my mornings with some stretching exercises & learning to take myself for a walk with anxiety knocking on the door, I managed to read some beautiful books that shook my grounds and deepened my understanding of this life.
Besides our love to create linen dresses, we also really enjoy bringing value and warmth in our Son de Flor community. Today we want to talk about the importance of emotional well-being. Sometimes mental and emotional health terms might seem as synonyms, however, they aren’t the same thing, and both need separate attention to maintain overall harmony.
Yes, sometimes we are flying high and anything is possible. Sometimes we get really low and seems like nothing makes sense. How to stay mentally balanced and drive through all the ups and downs patiently and wisely? Not easy to achieve, especially in the current times of the pandemic, though there are several things we can do that might help us to find inner peace and breathe more freely.
Often when focusing on our goals and work we tend to steal time from nourishing ourselves mentally and physically. Yet both things are equally important to consider to stay happy and healthy. It’s great that this result can be achieved by creating little habits in our lives that, with time, would grow into something very special and beautiful, and would improve our overall well-being.
May the rest of the winter be the time of self-care physically, mentally & spiritually. We’ve been available and kind to everyone over the past period, may we finally be kind to ourselves. The goals set for the Next Year will not run-away anywhere, they will be accomplished as a side effect of feeling physically fit, mentally and emotional more stable, spiritually calm and relaxed.
